Government ease restrictions on football
News emerging this afternoon is that the Government of Ghana has finally eased restrictions on football.
The Ghana Premier League has been without spectators for almost 8 weeks. This decision was taken by the government to control the fast spreading of the corona virus pandemic.
The minister of Youth and Sports, Isaac Asiamah signed a letter that states that all stadiums will be limited to twenty five percent (25%) capacity as previous announced by the President with all the safety and hygiene protocols are still in force.
It further stated that the Internal-Ministerial TaskForce will continue to monitor the evolving Covid-19 situation and will advise when more spectators will be allowed to all stadia In the country.
